I just started doing the service now i have to disconnect and run my new cable and mount my meter base.

The first step in this residing project is to remove the existing clapboard including a section near an electrical weather head. Removing the siding will leave a gap between the meter and the wall that means the pvc conduit will have to be bent in order to get the meter box flush with the original wall. I was just stuck on the fact of it was a code violation if i put the new meter base in the recessed vinyl siding.
